Writing Social Posts: One Point per Post

The direct answer: a post that spreads does three things — one clear point, specific enough to verify (a number, an example, a before-and-after), and self-contained without the click. The universal structure: point, evidence, boundary (optional link).

The structure template

  • First line = the point (readable on its own in the feed).
  • Middle = the evidence (data, an example, personal experience — one of three).
  • Close = the boundary or concession (“sample limited”, “varies by scenario”) — honesty raises credibility.

Opening patterns

  • Counter-intuitive: “keyword stuffing lowers search visibility”.
  • Concrete: “we changed three lines and conversion doubled”.
  • Avoid: “sharing some thoughts” — no information.

Publishing rhythm

  • One piece rewritten per platform (one asset, many returns), each opening adjusted for the channel.
  • A sustainable cadence beats bursts — two or three posts a week you can keep beats daily for three days then silence.
