The Six Modules a Landing Page Needs
Updated 2026-10-19 · this page makes no search or citation promises
The direct answer: a converting landing page answers four questions in order — what is this, who is it for, how does it solve the problem, and why trust it. Six modules each carry one answer: one-line positioning, capability list, boundaries, evidence, call to action, and FAQ. Missing or misordered modules leak traffic at the corresponding step.

Six modules each carry one answer: one-line positioning, capability list, boundaries, evidence, call to action, and FAQ. Missing or misordered modules leak traffic at the corresponding step.
The six modules
- 1. One-line positioning (an answer unit): audience + value + boundary, first line of the hero.
- 2. Capability list: concrete capabilities, each verifiable.
- 3. Boundaries: what it does not do and who it does not fit — excluding the wrong visitors raises conversion.
- 4. Evidence: data, cases, checkable detail (nothing invented).
- 5. Call to action: one clear next step; for trials, say “no card required”.
- 6. FAQ: the three questions sales hears most.
Common mistakes per module
- Positioning written as a slogan (no information).
- Capabilities written as adjectives (unverifiable).
- Missing boundaries (attracts the wrong customers, growing support load).
- Evidence without sources (backfires on credibility).
- More than one call to action (choice paralysis).
- An FAQ that only answers questions the seller likes (avoids real doubts).
